Sam Bennett’s season has certainley gotten off to a flyer with a win in the combined race in Navan last week and a stunning victory at the weekend in the Senior 1 Mick Cahill Memorial Race in Banteer.
It addition to Sams win, it was a great team performance from the club with Dan Morrissey riders occupying 4 of the top 10 slots in the A/B race. There was also success in the C race with Diarmuid Carew taking a fine 5th place and Mickey Reilly in 1oth.
