Sam Bennett was yet again the class of the field this weekend in the Des Hanlon Classic in Carlow on Sunday afternoon. Sam along with rival, Philip Lavery chased down the break containing teammate Martin O’Loughlin on lap 1 of 2 and put in a fantastic show to take first place overall with Martin taking 3rd.
In the 3 lap race, Hugh Mulhearne and Rory Wyley rode well to take 4th and 7th places respectivley. Whilst rounding out a strong day for the club overall Barry O’Donnell took 3rd place in the 1 lap race. Well done to all and a special thanks to Emma Walsh from Dungarvan CC for the super photos.
