Name the Year

Endurance base training is occupying our riders after their post-season break, with some riders taking to their mountainbikes on Sundays. We’ll take a few strolls down memory lane on our website during the winter in lieu of competition news.

First up is a famous day when ‘Dashing Joe Cashin’ soloed to victory to win a stage of the Rás into Limerick. Which leads to another question: How many Co. Kilkenny natives have won stages of the Rás? And another: How many of our club’s riders have won stages of the Rás? I can think of 10. Are there more? Answers can be posted on our message board.
