Cycling Skills Training Course for Children Aged 7 – 12 Years

Panduit Carrick Wheelers intend running a cycling skills training course for children aged between 7 and 12 years each Saturday from 09th to 30th April 2016 inclusive from 1030 to 1200 hours at Saint Molleran’s GAA clubhouse, Coolnamuck, Carrick-on-Suir.

The course is modeled on Cycling Ireland’s Sprocket Rocket programme (see http://www.cyclingireland.ie/page/programmes/sprocket-rocket1).  Children are expected to be able to cycle already and the course is designed to teach the correct technique involved in the core skills of braking, balance, cornering and pedalling.  All what is required of children is a bike (any type is fine) in a safe condition, a helmet and a willing attitude.  A €5 cost applies to cover the cost of Cycling Ireland membership.
