Panduit Carrick Wheelers held their 66th AGM Virtually last month.
Chairman Tom O’Connell opened the meeting and welcomed everyone.
Tom spoke about the success the club had in 2020 despite the Pandemic
currently affecting the country. The club had successfully run the slightly
delayed Bobby Power memorial, and had also run the Underage All Irelands.
The club had also donated €500 to the Carrick On Suir Meals on Wheels
raised from our Lap of the County Challenge.
Tom also wanted to congratulate Jamie Blanchfield on a succesful running
of a Club TT League.
Tom congrulated club man Sam Bennett on his success in 2020 and wished
him all the best for 2021 and beyond.
A moments silence was held in memory of all members recently deceased.
Club Secetary Paul Lonergan began his address, all standing orders were adopted.
Treasurer Larry Power gave a statement of the accounts and special mention was
made of Club Sponsor Panduit. The continued support has enabled the club to
run events and continue to grow.
A number of motions were raised and debated, with a program for development
for the next number of years adopted.
The club wish everyone every success for 2021 and beyond.
