Carrick Wheelers Cycling Club is delighted to announce an exciting three year sponsorship deal with local fruit and vegetable company Iverk Produce.
The famous Carrick Wheelers, a club steeped in history and tradition since its foundation in 1954, are thrilled to have secured the financial backing of this strong local company who directly employ 150 people and have been a major employer in the locality for generations. Iverk Produce, who are based in Piltown, Co. Kilkenny, is one of Ireland’s largest distributors of quality fresh fruit, vegetables and potatoes to the retail, wholesale and food services sectors, including well-known supermarket chain Aldi who proudly stock and support many Irish home-grown products.
This is truly an excellent deal for Carrick Wheelers. With this sponsorship from Iverk Produce Carrick Wheelers can continue to generate future Olympians, European and National Champions, Rás Winners and Irish Internationals as the club have done over the past few decades.
In addition to producing some of Ireland’s best ever cyclists, cycling event promotion has always been of immense importance to the Carrick-on-Suir club. Thanks to this impressive partnership with Iverk Produce, Carrick Wheelers will be able to continue their pro-active stance in the promotion of races, leisure events and under-age leagues at the heart of Irish cycling.
Iverk Produce has continued their long tradition of supporting local sport with this new three year sponsorship deal and both parties can now look forward to the official launch Iverk Produce Carrick Wheelers Cycling Club in 2012.
