Hanrahan Takes Overall Classification in O’Ceallacháin’s Youth League

By June 22, 2014 Underage League

Jake Hanrahan has become the most recent winner of the O’Ceallacháin’s Youth League which took place in Faugheen village each Monday evening  for the last 6 weeks. The final round took place in glorious summer sunshine, and as the racing progressed all the groups seemed to merge together in the closing stages of the final lap. A total of 36 young aspiring riders signed over the weeks, a great sign when compared to recent years’ editions. Hanrahan won the Overall Classification with a total of 89 points from Killian McHale and Jake Hogan with 86 and 84 points respectively. Joint 3rd and winner on the night was Dara Kelly, pipping Ciarán Walsh and Mark Whittle for the win. All at Iverk Produce Carrick Wheelers would like to thank O’Ceallacháin’s Bar and Bistro for their contributions toward the league again this year.
