Sam Bennett’s season rolls on and the wins keep coming. Using his fathers winter training bike, pictured above (actual bike not pictured, but at this stage Sam could beat most of us riding the bike in the picture!), Sam took victory in the A race ahead of Maurice O’Brien, Dennis Lynch, Michael Fitzgerald and Michael Hennessy. Martin O’Loughlin did a great job leading his young teammate out for the 350m sprint and ended up finishing 6th for his efforts.
In the combined race the Moyglass motorbike, Kevin Shelly put some points up on the board finishing in sixth place after riding in the break for most of the day behind Sean McIlroy who took a fantastic 5th place.
